The workshop was a fantastic experience with intercultural and project related values. Markus and Raven gave a short overview of the E-Comm Youth Boost project in Benalmadena. They introduced participants to the basics and general knowledge of starting an e-business with the example of retail vintage clothing company RetroFashion. Later, participants were formed into two different groups and created a mock e-website based on their own business ideas. The first group concentrated on starting a beauty salon that displays different services offered and registration options. In addition, they promoted a campaign aimed at the graduates by offering a discount for hair services. The second group decided to opt for a website that is a monthly subscription based, allowing donations to multiple NGOs at the same time. Their marketing plan relied on highly social media promotion by showcasing how the donations will be used. The participants of the workshop were happy to participate, showed enthusiasm and hope to take part of Erasmus+ projects in the future.
