Question 1:
Reflect on your experience in Benalmadena: Can you share a highlight or a particularly impactful moment from your time in Benalmadena participating in the project “E-Comm Youth Boost”? What made this moment stand out for you? (e.g. peer learning among participants, discussions, specific activities, intercultural experience, EU values that help you to break stereotypes among countries).
Enjoy the moment when we had to create a funny and original video about a specific theme that we were assigned to (in my case the topic was “show why the delivery men of a company are always in late”). In that moment I understood that the comicity has no flag, in fact every partecipant of the project found the video lot of funny. For this video every component of the group gave the own contribute and idea, and in the end we mixed every hint and create an incredible short film. Eventually I also won the “best actor award”, and by then I became “Riccardo Di Caprio”. I want to highlight this specific task because it was the perfect example of learning and having fun at the same time, an approach often wrongly undervalued.
Question 2:
Learning and growth: Throughout the project, what was the most significant learning experience for you, especially in terms of integrating e-commerce into youth engagement? How has this experience influenced your approach to youth work? (e.g. insights gained from non-formal learning methods, personal growth moments during the training, or understanding the importance of sustainable, EU values and ethical practices in e-commerce and digital entrepreneurship).
Every tasks during the project were very stimulants and useful for my personal growth and my knowledge about e-commerce. Probably, the most impactful was project an User Interface for a hypothetical website, because I found many interesting idea from the other participants. Indeed some of them had more experience than me in the e-commerce field, so helped me to improve in the marketing and UX side. Considering that I usually build websites as hobby, this part of the training was so important for me, in order to widen my view on the subject enrich my knowledge from people from other countries with more experience than me.
Question 3:
Looking forward: Based on your experiences and the non-formal skills you’ve acquired during the project in Benalmadena, how do you plan to apply what you’ve learned on Erasmus+ and e-commerce to future initiatives or your professional practice? Are there any specific strategies or insights that you plan to incorporate into your work with diverse youth groups (e.g. utilizing new non-formal methods to enhance accessibility and inclusivity within your organisation)?
First of all, this project allowed me to improve my English speaking, and this is crucial for my professional carrer. Moreover, I acquired lot of non-formal skills that could help me, such as working in group, managing people, listening to different opinions from different cultures. Furthermore, at the moment I’m still studying, but I think that these kind of experiences give me many advantages respect to other students that don’t want to participate in these training. To sum up, I believe that the experience that I have acquired from the Erasmus+ project, helped me in every sides of my life, from professional one to personal one, rendering me a better person and above all a better European citizen.
